We skipped homecoming this year. Yes, the E fam (two of JMU's biggest fans skipped homecoming). We got to the point where driving back to Harrisonburg just became too much and we couldn't imagine packing and driving again- we needed a weekend off. So that's just what we did. But instead of staying home and watching movies and relaxing (which would be very anti-E family), we grabbed Tucker and went over to Mount Vernon. Yes! Dogs are allowed all over the grounds of George's former home.
Tucker became quite the celebrity throughout or afternoon at Mt. Vernon. By the time we were leaving, kids were saying "hey mom, look its Tucker again" and we just have to laugh! He was clearly the cutest dog there and the kids loved him... the animals did too! The black sheep couldn't get enough of Tucker. We thought they would be scared of him, or he of them, but we were wrong. The sheep loved him.

| T would be a great herder: the sheep followed him all around their pen! |
 |
| He really wanted to get closer to this horse, not sure how the horse would have felt about it. |
 |
| He smiles and poses for the camera |
 |
| The closest thing to a good family picture we got all day. |

Cutest puppy. EVER.

After walking around for a while we grabbed a grassy spot and just relaxed. The weather was unusually warm for October and T was extra well-behaved. Having a "stay at home" weekend was just what we needed. And besides, JMU crushed the other team for Homecoming!
