A Year Ago

A year ago today, our little pup Tucker was born! I thought we'd go back to the beginning and share the first pictures of Tucker... from before I knew there was a Tucker (but not before B did... wink)! These are the parts I missed out on because T was a big surprise (and one that was well worth it).  But for our next doggie, Im really excited for the emails from the breeder as the pups get bigger, visits to see the pup before we take him or her home, and the day we finally bring it home to be with us.  Yes, one day we will have another golden in our family... why have one pup when you can have two?!

So, here's our cutie from the very beginning.  His breeder name was "Simon" and for The American Kennel Club, his name is "Hillside's Golden Tucker" but in our hearts he's simply Tucker (or Tuck-Tuck, T, Tuck).  Here are some shots from before B was allowed to bring him home:

Final goodbye to his wonderful breeder, Mary Ellen before he officially became B's pup (he became our pup just 24 hours later on the quad of JMU)! 

B, after 10 months of knowing this little pup I can't imagine not having him as part of our lives, our family.  Thank you for the best gift I've ever received and for giving a gift that constantly makes me laugh, smile & feel loved, no matter what.  If dogs are a man's best friend, then Tucker is top of my list!
