Table Numbers

Ive gone back and forth for months on this one.  It's one of the few things for 6.30 that I lacked a vision in my head for what I wanted them to look like.  So finally my mom and I settled on chalkboard number stakes.  After buying a store-bought set and realizing they werent real chalkboards and they were too short for the mason jars, we decided to create our own!

Mom did 3 coats of chalkboard paint to cover the wood circles.  Then the fun began.
supplies: dowl rods, chalkboard paint... hot glue gun, white paint pen

We decided to do a white paint pen instead of chalk to make the numbers stand out more

After getting the numbers dark enough for your liking, hot glue the dowl rods to the back and you're done!

I dont think they really look like chalkboards (which was what I was going for here) but the whole project cost about $20 and at this point we're just going with it.  Hopefully it will complete our "country- garden" themed wedding just nicely!
