Our little boy has fallen in love. With his half sister... ek! Graycie is the energetic, gutsy golden owned by our good friends Linds & Pete. They are getting to practice being parents to Graycie as their human baby is on the way in just a few more months! Graycie shares the same dad as Tucker, but had a different momma and is about 10 months or so younger. After 6 months of talking about getting the pups together for a play date we finally pulled it off.
We were so nervous about how Tucker would handle being with Graycie. Of course he is always well behaved, but a little thing called hormones kicks in lately and Tucker can be hard to handle, especially around young ladies. Thankfully, they did a lot of chasing each other around the yard and Graycie was quite the rowdy gal (she caused more trouble than he did!). Our little gentleman eventually calmed down and sat next to her without sitting on her!

Speaking of, we've come across an amazing Golden Retriever rescue organization in our area and have fallen in love with so many of the pups they are trying to find homes for. Thankfully, so have B's parents. Hopefully in the next few weeks we'll find out if Tucker will get to have a permanent play mate, Rocket, when he visits his grandparents. Looking to adopt a dog?
