The first married Christmas was a success! We got to spend time with both families and were given so many wonderful things that the weekend was a giant blur. Even though we drove several hundred miles up-down, back-forth for Christmas, Tucker didnt mind- it meant more people to give him belly rubs.
First stop on our Christmas tour was my family. We (I) baked my grandmother's cinnamon rolls, visited with high school friends, wrapped lots of presents, opened said presents, celebrated with cousins, went to an awkward Christmas Eve mass (ever heard of church in an old Harley store? weird...), and stayed up way too late!
Even though this Christmas was quite different than I ever have had it before, it was perfect. We started some new traditions and got to see the whole family. Things were quite crammed into our short visit but at least everyone participated in the Christmas light tour around the neighborhood this year (no one jumped ship, thank goodness!). It was so good to be back home.

The funniest of the attempts at a full family picture. He clearly is the center of attention.

This little monster was given a wrapping paper roll. It was his favorite toy for about 5 minutes until it was in pieces all over the floor!

Just the humans

Cousins reunited from Maryland, Virginia, and Chicago

T and his loot pile- pre opening. He loves opening things in bags!

Sure T, hold your stocking (at least it wasnt a ratty towel)

Again, will we ever get a normal picture?
|
Ooey gooey cinnamon bun goodness for Christmas morning!
